Who we are |
Vision and missionOur vision is to reach all Arabic speaking communities around the world with the Word of God, and to see a Christian fellowship in every Arab town and village in Israel and the Palestinian areas. Our mission is to serve God by means of spreading the Christian message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ in order to bring souls to God and to encourage them to be members of local Christian churches, who share the same belief in God and Jesus Christ and the Christian message according to the New Testament. BoardEmmaus Bible Ministry has a Board consisting of 9 people. One of them is a lawyer, the majority are working in Christian ministries.They are from a wide range of evangelical churches. Ownership The Emmaus Bible Ministry is owned by the Board and is part of the international Emmaus organisation. Non profit Emmaus Bible Ministry is registered as a (Amuta) charity non profit organization, and is supported by the gifts of Christians. Every Course is subsidized and in this way Emmaus is able to provide sound Bible teaching at no cost to ALL wishing to study. The official registration number is 580051167. Our belief EMMAUS believes that the Bible is divinely inspired, inerrant in the original writings and of final authority in faith and practice. EMMAUS believes in One God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. EMMAUS believes in the creation of man in the divine image, his subsequent fall through sin resulting in universal guilt and the consequent necessity of personal salvation through Christ. EMMAUS believes in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, and His bodily resurrection. His ascension to the right hand of God and His personal return. EMMAUS believes in the personality of the Holy Spirit, by Whose regenerative work sinful man is born again, and by whose indwelling regeneration man is enabled to live a godly life. EMMAUS believes in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost. |

We would appreciate prayer for the following
Please pray for the youth English study every Saturday evening. We have 5 registered and hope this will trigger other to participate.
Pray for Micah who is teaching this English course, and for her Arabic studies to go well as she is here for the next three months.
Pray for the children's day camp. Our next will be a two day camp on April 11th and 12th.
Pray for the publishing of three books in 2012.
