We
have so much to be thankful for but especially we remember His gift of
Jesus Christ who is the “author and perfecter of our faith” Heb 12:2
Website:
Many letters of appreciation and encouragement continue to come in to
the blog page and to the reader’s letters corner. Please pray for the
many isolated Arabic speaking believers around the world for whom this
website is a spiritual life-line. Holger and Chris are working on
updating the website system in Germany and we pray they will be able to
complete it soon on top of all their other many work and ministries.
Another branch of the Bible study now operates from Lebanon and has six
study courses available online. The Arabic translation of the O.T.
Believers Bible Commentary is almost complete and we hope to have it on
the website early next year. The Bible text is now available in Arabic,
English, Spanish and French.
Publications:
“The Principles of
Gathering” is a 50 page booklet which is now out from the press, gives
valuable teaching on the role of the local church. Intermediate and
Advanced Christian Training courses should be ready for the press early
in 2010. Pray that they may be widely used as teaching materials in the
local churches here. We are planning on printing 3 tracts next year, one
of which will be on the theme of the Soccer World Cup.
We have
recently ordered 10,000 copies of the Hebrew/English New Testament for
distribution here. Pray that God would use these to lead many to know
the Messiah.
Christian Center:
Unfortunately there have been now new developments with the building
permit although we have submitted some changes to the parking facilities
which the municipality required. The registration of the land is also
stuck in the world of red-tape. Pray for a breakthrough in both these
issues.
US
Foundation: we are with
the help of 6 wonderful friends from Iowa how took on them selves to
register and be the board for the work in the USA under the name of
Emmaus Nazareth Bible Ministry Inc. please pray with us that this will
help to raise the necessary funds for the new youth center in Nazareth.
Need
for help! I am now advertising for a full time assistant and maybe a part time
secretary as well. Pray for the Lord to provide the right person/people
to work with us, who have a heart to serve the Lord. We are also always
in need for volunteers from abroad. We need a Development Manager for
the ministry and a youth leader. Please contact us for more information
if you are interested to come and serve the Lord with us here in
Nazareth. We are also hoping for an outreach team in the summer/autumn
2010 for 2-3 weeks. You can see more information about this and
